Ceramics I

Prerequisite: None

This course is designed to give students a chance to explore the basic methods of construction and decoration of hand-built and wheel thrown pottery.

Ceramics II

Prerequisite: Ceramics I

This course is designed for those students who have already completed Ceramics I and have a desire to learn more about advanced processes in ceramics. Students will be expected to produce graduated pitchers, sets of bowls, and cups using carious techniques of sculpture and plaster mold making.

Ceramics III

Prerequisites: Ceramics II

his course is designed to meet the needs of those students who have successfully completed Ceramics II and would like to do independent studies in a particular area of ceramics. The student, with aid of the instructor, will choose areas that are of interest and make a contract to complete a thorough study of that area during a certain period of time.
