Computer Programming 3 year program where the student learns the fundamentals of Computer Programming for future careers in the technology industry and possibly earn college credit.

JROTC

JROTC is a national program designed to motivate young people to be better citizens. They instill leadership skills, offer a rich learning environment, and give cadets the opportunities they need to realize their full potential.

Future Farmers of America

Future Farmers of America  The FFA also offers students opportunities to attend leadership conferences, competitions, work with animals and numerous field trips all over California.

FFA Career Pathways:

  • Ag Business - 4 year program
  • Ornamental Horticulture - 4 year program
  • Animal Science - 4 year program

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination)

AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is college readiness program that helps students build the academic, organizational, and study skills needed to succeed in rigorous coursework and prepare for college and career success.

Career and Technical Education

Perris High School offers several CTE pathways and programs for student who can earn a trade that they can either use immediately out of high school for employment or for career planning in higher education:

CTE Digital Film & Production

CTE Digital Film & Production 3 year program where a student learns the
fundamentals of Video and Film Production, can earn college credit, and takes part in internships.

CTE Automotive

CTE Automotive 3 year program that teaches the basics of automotive and better prepares student for employment in the automotive industry.

CTE Culinary Arts

CTE Culinary Arts 2 year program involving cooking, food safety, and sanitation which will certify a student to secure employment in the food industry.

Agricultural Mechanics

Agricultural Mechanics 3 year program in which the students will focus on mastering skills such as electricity and electronics, plumbing and water use, concrete and masonry, power mechanics, welding, fabrication, equipment operation, and repair.
