Student Eligible for Transportation:
To be eligible for bus transportation, students must reside beyond the District’s minimum transportation distances listed below.
- For students attending middle school: three (3) miles
- For students attending high school or alternative education school: five (5) miles
Students attending a school other than their home school, as determined by their residential address by means of an approved intra-district or inter-district transfer, are not eligible for transportation services.
The Riverside TransitAgency (RTA) does provide some fixed route services in and around the Perris Union High School District area. Please click on the following link to view the current fixed route bus stops and time schedules.You will also find information on this link regarding reduced youth fares for students in grades 1 through 12.
Bus Passes:
Student ID cards will be required and used as a student’s bus pass. A separate bus pass is not required. Student ID cards are issued by the school sites during registration.
Bus Fees:
There are no fees for eligible students receiving transportation services.
Bus Rules:
Click on the link below to download the transportation contract. Every bus rider must complete this form and they are responsible for abiding by these rules. A copy of this document must be on file in the Transportation office. Please complete, sign and return to the bus driver on the first day your student rides the bus.
